t-mac went down a storm last month at the Energy Event 2010 in Birmingham. Thanks to all of you who came to visit us at the stand!
CRC News managed to talk me in to doing an interview with them – I hate watching myself on camera, but I’ve decided to share it with my blog readers. You can view the video here… be nice!
Everyone that visited us got the chance to literally step into t-mac’s world through our ‘try t-mac’ experience, seeing first-hand t-mac’s bespoke, easy-to-use dashboards via an interactive touch-screen system.
It was great to see people testing our products and finding out just how easily the system could work for their organisation. It also gave them the opportunity to see the various custom-designed energy dashboards we have at t-mac - including the newest member of the t-mac family – the energy showcasing dashboard (ESD). It was the first time we unveiled this great new addition to our range, and it went down a storm!
The ESD not only displays mains and sub metering data and energy generated from renewable sources presented back in a reader-friendly way, it also displays the weather. By using an anemometer, an instrument which is usually found in weather stations, the dashboard charts wind speed and pressure which is displayed alongside the other collected data. Combined, this provides the user with a fully updated forecast of activity inside and outside the building which can affect energy consumption within a building.
I’m off now to the Energy Solutions Expo 2010 at the London Olympia which is on for the next two days (6 - 7 October), so if you’re there make sure you stop by and say hello and ‘try t-mac’!
Hopefully see you there!
