Not at all. Our platform works standalone or alongside BMS systems.

What’s the difference between metering and monitoring?

Metering refers to Utility data capture, monitoring generally refers to environmental conditions or equipment status, t-mac does both — and adds control.

What’s the difference between sub-metering and main metering?

Sub-metering breaks down energy use by zone, system or equipment. Main metering gives a total for the whole building. TMAC supports both.
